Restaurant-Hopping

Most people love to eat. Some even spend longer time in the table savoring the taste of their meal. The way we eat varies from person to person. Others prefer to cook it their selves to assure the safety of the food and the taste as well. However some people have developed the feeling of excitement every time they go out and eat on restaurants.

I am one of the people who love to visit different restaurants - especially those that are most talked about. Tasting different specialties from different restos thrill me. Though this kind of habit is undeniably expensive, I can't help myself but to save and look forward into feeling of fulfillment of being able to taste another recipe. What I always look for in every restaurant I visit is the "star" of their menu. I always get curios on why such menu is loved by their regular cusotmers that is why I want it to try for myself.

This habit is for sure something that is not too healthy - on my body and on my pocket. Sometimes I end up being out of budget but at least I am happy for I was able to treat myself after a tiring work. Each one of us has something that we wanna do regularly, something that we consider a good relief to any stress or problem we have, whatever this "habit" is, so long as it is not that risky, GO FOR IT. Chase your happiness. :)

Keep Your Summer COOL

Summer's fast approaching. Everyone's busy planning for their vacation - be it out of town or just within the city. While most of the people are looking forward for another unforgettable summer experience, I thought of posting that is very timely. This is not all about summer vacation packages or a list of places that should be visited, this one's about a delicious way of making your summer "cool" and fun.

Surely, summer days are the hottest time of the year. That is why many pools and beaches this time are the most in demand. Some people regard summer as the best time to eat one of their favorite desserts – ice cream!

Do you know that ice creams are of different kinds? Let me take you the world of cool and frozen, delicious dessert.

Sorbet -  a frozen ice cream made from fruit juice.

Soft serve – one that is served by a machine rather than a human; termed as “soft” because its air content is doubled than normal.

Regular Ice Cream – frozen desserts made from dairy products.

Freeze Dried – an ice cream that can be served without the need to freeze it; usually labeled as dehydrated brick of ice cream.

Those were just few of the many kinds of ice cream. I suggest you better try them this summer to ease the hotness that you feel and to keep you feel “cool”. J

The Need To Be Alone

I spent the whole afternoon outside my house savoring the beauty of the outside world. While I was enjoying this rare time to be alone, I read a magazine. The topic that caught my attention was the one that talked about the benefits one can get when she spends time alone, time to be with herself and think things over. Although I am really one of the many people in the world who are afraid of roaming around the city alone and is in great contradiction to the idea of that column, I continue reading.

The writer together with her convincing writing skills was able to make me realize that a time to be alone is one of the best gifts that we can give to our self. For in being alone, we get the chance to asses the things that we did, plan for the future and think of how are we going to enjoy  what is with us 'today'. It is also during this time that we get to enjoy what we want to do - order the foods that we want, buy the things that we dreamed to have and spend as much time as possible inside the mall.

You too should never keep yourself from enjoying this kind of bonding with 'yourself'. :)

What Life Is All About

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
― Albert Einstein

The person who quote this one is not just a genius scientist but a person who realized what life really is. After reading this one, I realized that what happens to our lives is actually because of our thoughts and actions. We our the one's responsible of all the circumstances that we encounter as we go on with our own journey. However, I still believe in the intercession of the Almighty Father in everything that happens in our lives. Our responsibility only starts on how we make decisions in our lives - whether we choose to remain on the right track or go to the other side of life. For me, it is more efficient to live life "as though nothing is a miracle". In this principle, we are thought of being independent, of taking the whole responsibility of our life. We can still ask and pray for God's guidance but we don't just sit the whole day and wait for everything to be alright. We work for the things that we want to have. Life is not just about how you enjoy it, it's also about how you put an effort to make it fun.

Why Visit Highline Anyway?

As a travel addict I have been to a lot of beautiful places. Many of the places I have been have made me amazed however some places did not meet my expectations. There are also places which I really can’t forget and would love to come back again and again. One of these places which have made a mark to my memory is the High Line Public Park. This place is amazing. Here I met friends not just from New York but from other places too and we share the same feeling about this park. This park was a historic freight rail line before it was transformed into this awesome place back in 1999. And this park is not the typical park you may have at your place. This thing is big and has a whole lot to offer to satisfy your cravings for relaxation and recreation. The High Line Public Park is open everyday form 7am to 7pm. It is located at the westside of Manhattan, New York City. It is 1.45-mile-long elevated rail structure running from Gansevoort Street to West 34th Street on Manhattan's West Side and it is owned by the City of New York and is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Parks and Recreation.

The World At Its Best

From time to time the wonders of nature has never stopped astonishing the people and making them realize how creative and majestic our creator for building such stuffs. However there are also beautiful places aside from the natural tourist spots or must-visit place. These places which did not naturally existed are those which the people had built for the purpose of beautification, recreation and others. A park is one of the places which are created for the comfort and relaxation not only for the people living around it but also to the visiting people. And a good example for a park is the Highline Park in New York. It is a public park which was built by the people of Manhattan. High Line Park was before a freight rail line before it was transformed into a park on 1999. It is open daily from 7am to 7pm. And it is not just the typical park you may have in your place. This park has a lot to offer and would surely satisfy your need for recreation and joy. Many people go here to relax, unwind and meet some new friends. And this park is consistently developing yet it is still preserved. People who had gone to this place would surely come back again and again for it is clearly amazing.

Music Heals Your Soul

Music plays a very big role in most of the people’s individual life. Music makes them feel great depending on what kind of music they prefer and also depending from their mood at that specific time of the day. When they feel like being jolly and cheerful then it would be suitable for them to play some groovy and hip sounds. However when some people want to feel the pain and the heartaches they are dealing, they would play such gloomy and sad music. Just like what has been said earlier not all the people has the same choice of music basically because all of us are unique. That is why for me there is this kind of music that I would like to introduce in any case you have not heard it yet. It is the Peruvian music and it is my favorite. Listening to Peruvian music for me and from other people’s testimony is very relaxing and somehow could ease the pain from your heart, relieve the stress out of your mind and make you feel comfortable, fresh and renewed as you are listening to it. Peruvian music uses wind instruments which are undeniably very soothing to the ear unlike those electronic instruments. So if you are more into rejuvenating senses and relaxing it would be best to be listening to Peruvian music.
